so today I went to the goodwill with my bff...she is sooo extra btw. I wanted her to try on clothes but she wouldn't so here is my ensemble I put together...it's a bit tacky but I kinda like it...

ESPY AWARDS

so ya'll I got this new idea/ career i'm going hard after and what a better way to start by discussing the hits and misses at the ESPY AWARDS. so here are my favorites:

the gorgeous darren sharper and reggie bush. reggie always cleans up nicely and on sharper...le sigh... i love the white coat and the gold tie for a pop of color...something about a man in a great fitting suit...

these were my favorites: reggie bush. darren sharper. terrell suggs. chris bosh. uber cutie brandon jennings. marissa miller looks sooo fab. and amber rose looks beautiful

now for some people who need to hire me for some personal consulting...this ish don't make no sense.

I think i've found my purpose!!!!

so I have been trying to figure out what about fashion styling inspires me...I loved editorial...I absolutely love it. I love to see all the elements work together to create the one perfect image. And I also love runway...there is nothing like watching those close in motion...le sigh. But I have recently become obsessed with lifestyle styling and more so image consulting. I love shopping and I love helping people create new looks for themselves. And I really want to work in the sports arena. I feel like sometime athletes (male and female) can't really transcend their style from the court/ filed to the runway. I have been reading up a lot on these types of stylist and there really is a market for it and I want to be apart of it. So that is what I am working on during my sabbatical from NYC. Someone who be a dream client for me would be Serena Williams. I love Serena I think she is such an amazing woman but often times she misses the mark...fashion wise. I have to give it to her she has come a looong way and she's almost t here. I took a little trip down fashion lane to look at her journey. Here we go...

I'm not sure who was dressing her...I think a great feature about Serena is her legs...they are amazing so I like that she wears shorter dresses and things but she also has very broad shoulders so you have to be mindful of the tops you put on her. 

                                                     

Anyways I saw this image of Serena yesterday and I was literally blown away...she looks amazing here. The hair, the makeup, the dress it all just worked! I may have gone with a strappy heel or platform and definitely lost the band aid...Who is her stylist now....because they are doing a great job. I am looking forward into getting into this area of styling...I may have to make my own opportunity if one doesn't present itself...

has she got style....

so I was perusing a blog that I follow www.fashionbombdaily.com and I came across the bombshell of the day. I looked and thought it over and decided not to comment because I didn't really have anything great to say about her style choices. What was crazy to me is all the comments that she garnered...people were going INNNNNN on her looks and I honestly feel really bad for her. Putting yourself out there to be judged based on what you are wearing is hard...but hey you submitted and I guess that's what you have to deal with. Myself along with 2 friends have all been featured as bombshells of the day and I received nothing but great comments. If there were rude ones I know I would have been in tears because I ma extremely sensitive that's why I made sure everything I put out was me looking my best...this girl...not so sure and then she said she was a stylist...and then I was just like kailee...close the link...well here is her link with all the comments...home girl is very strong but please people remember you are judged on how you dress so yeah...make the effort :) I mean she's not a H.A.M or anything I just don't think she wears clothing flattering to her body...yeah...tis all. what say you?
